The South West Coastal Group
The South West Coastal Group was established in 2009 and covers the coastline from Portland Bill in Dorset, clockwise around the Southwest Peninsula of England up to Hartland Point in Devon, and includes the Isles of Scilly.

The Group has been formed by the agglomeration of two long standing groups;
The South Devon and Dorset Coastal Group (SDADCAG) and
The Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Coastal Group (CISCAG).

This agglomeration was a DEFRA initiative to ensure that the coastal groups played a more strategic and stronger role in the future planning of flood and coastal erosion risk management.
